Forward Katherine Gale becomes the 11th player to reach the 50-cap milestone as Great Britain play Latvia today in the women’s Olympic Qualifiers.
Gale made her GB debut at the 2011 World Championship in France and this is her 11th major international tournament.
Gale was presented with her 50th cap by Ice Hockey UK General Secretary Andy French in the dressing room in a special presentation ahead of the game.
GB face Latvia at the Bauer Arena in iceSheffield today with face-off at 16:00.

Tickets are available on the door at iceSheffield all weekend.
Admission is via Day Tickets which covers two matches a day and costs just £15 (plus fees) for adults.
Concession tickets (over-65s and under-16s) are on sale for only £8 (plus fees).

All six matches at the women’s Olympic Qualifiers in Sheffield are being shown live on a webcast.
Individual webcasts cost £4 each or you can buy a tournament pass for £10 to give access to all six games.
