Great Britain and Romania have a winner-takes-all encounter in Cardiff this evening (7pm) with a place at stake in the Final Qualifying round for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy,
GB have both won two games so far this weekend with victories over China (10-1) and Serbia (11-0), while Romania beat Serbia (4-0) and China (6-1).

The two sides met in Nottingham in last year’s World Championship as GB skated to a 7-0 victory.
Brett Perlini, Liam Kirk, Jonathan Phillips, Johnny Curran, Sam Ruopp, Evan Mosey and Josh Waller were all on target for GB.
