GB Futures were beaten 6-3 by Team EESTI in their second game at the Under-16 Boys Four Nations in Tallinn.
Joel Munroe started between the pipes for GB with Freddie Cole as back-up.
Richard Nook burst through the middle of the GB defence and scored with a neat move on his backhand to put the hosts ahead (03:33), before Munroe made two good close-range saves in succession.
Jaiden Martin’s shot was tipped by Charlie Butler (14:04) as GB went to the first intermission level.
Timur Hannanov put Team EESTI ahead again from the slot (27:43), before Jack Williams went top-shelf from the left-circle to equalise (32:13).
The home side scored twice in 61 seconds to take a two-goal lead to the second intermission as Reno Saar’s wrist-shot (34:57) was followed by Mark Veitman’s neat low finish (35:56).
Hannanov netted his second of the night with a deflected shot (43:24) and Roman Antonets scored a superb solo goal (49:28) to put Team ESSTI in control.
But GB hit back within eight seconds as Williams grabbed his second of the night with a backhand shot from the slot (49:36), but the hosts held on for the win.
GB complete the four-team tournament on Saturday against Hungary at 11:00 (09:00 BST).
