Training camp is under way in Nottingham as Great Britain prepare for this year’s World Championship in Prague, Czechia.
Day one of camp is always special as the team reunites but, of course, it’s the second time this year after success at the Olympic Qualifiers in Cardiff back in February.
The team took to the ice tonight for the first training session as they get ready for two matches against Poland this weekend.
Friday’s game at Planet Ice Leeds (7:30pm face-off) is nearly a sell-out with literally a handful of tickets remaining.
Saturday’s match at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham (7pm) is selling well with over half the bowl already full. Extra seating has now released for sale so you are urged to secure your seats as soon as possible.
It’s a great chance to take the family with tickets for children under the age of 10 free (at least one adult for every three under-10s).
Prices
Adults: £20
Concessions (seniors and under-16s): £15
Children under-10: FREE (at least one adult for every three under-10s)
GB against Poland is one of the most exciting rivalries in world ice hockey and the passion on the ice is matched off it, with fantastic support in the stands from both sets of supporters.
