Great Britain beat China 3-0 to continue their winning start to the men’s U18 World Championship Division II Group A in Asiago.

Netminder Alfie Blakeley secured his second shutout of the tournament as he turned away all 27 shots he faced.

GB are yet concede a goal in three games after Ben Clarke-Leach shutout Croatia on the opening day.

Connor Lee wrapped around the back of the net and fed Jordan O’Brien on the doorstep to put GB ahead (35:32).

O’Brien scored his second of the game – and third of the tournament – midway through the third period (51:33).

Bailey Yates secured the victory with an empty-net goal with a second remaining (59:59).

GB are straight back into action on Thursday against Romania at 13:00 (12:00 BST).
