Great Britain made it two wins from two with a 3-0 victory over Netherlands at the Under-18 Women’s World Championship Division II Group A in Riga.

After making 21 saves in Monday’s 3-1 victory over Kazakhstan, Lucy Holliday started between the pipes and secured a 13-shot shutout.

GB took the lead when Ruby Newlands carried the puck out her own zone and fed Cassie McGregor who saw her shot saved, but Emma Lamberton buried the rebound (07:29).

There were no goals in the second session but Izabela Zdziesinska made it 2-0 early in the third period when she scored from the slot after receiving a backhand pass from Meeyah Forbes behind the net (44:02).

With GB short-handed, Lilly Endicott jumped onto a loose pack in neutral ice before gaining the offensive zone and firing across Robyn Verkaik (47:03).

After tomorrow’s rest day, GB return action on Thursday against New Zealand at 12:30 (10:30 GMT).
