
Jim Pennycook’s induction to the UK Ice Hockey Hall of Fame was marked at the game between Fife Flyers and Dundee Stars at the weekend.
Pennycook’s glittering career spanned nearly two decades and his contributions on the ice left an indelible mark on British hockey.
In total, he won six national championships, two British and three regional league titles.
First selected for the Great Britain in 1977, Pennycook went on to pick up 23 caps, scoring 19 points (10 goals and nine assists), playing in four World Championship tournaments.
