IHUK Foundation

The UK Ice Hockey Foundation (‘Foundation’) aims to unlock barriers for participation in the sport and reduce the cost of playing/learning the game.
 
The Foundation supports the ongoing work of Ice Hockey UK (IHUK), England Ice Hockey (EIH) and Scottish Ice Hockey (SIH).
As part of the mission and objectives, the Foundation will:
 
  • Provide free access to equipment and facilities
  • Offer expert coaching for players
  • Deliver development workshops for coaches  
  • Arrange formal and informal matches and competitions of different types
 
Ice hockey is played by 15,000 players in the UK, and watched by over 1.3million fans at live events each season. The Foundation is laser-focused on helping to create a ‘sport for all’ so that even more people can enjoy the benefits of the sport.
