Great Britain’s men and women’s teams have risen in the latest IIHF world rankings which were revealed this week.
GB Men have moved up three places and are now ranked 17th in the world, while GB Women have moved up two spots to 21st.

The venues for next year’s World Championship tournaments were announced last week and the men will travel to Sfântu Gheorghe for the Division I Group A tournament from 27th April to 3rd May 2025.
They’ll face hosts Romania as well as Italy, Japan, Poland and Ukraine.
GB Women will play on home ice in Scotland in the World Championship Division I Group B which will take place at the Dumfries Ice Bowl.
The six-team tournament will run from 9th to 15th April 2025 with GB facing Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia and Slovenia.
