Members of the Moran family received Gary Moran’s certificate to acknowledge his induction in the UK Ice Hockey Hall of Fame for 2024.
Moran, who sadly passed away three years ago, was a huge character in British ice hockey for over 30 years, most notably with Nottingham Panthers who he helped transform from a rink club to one of the most successful arena teams in the country.
Last night’s presentation ahead of face-off between Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers came a day after the official announcement of Moran’s indcution into the Hall of Fame for 2024.
Panthers owner Neil Black presented his family with the certificate and is pictured with Gary’s wife Audrey, son Paul who played for the Panthers and the Steelers and Paul’s daughters Beau and Bella.
