Great Britain have a winner-takes-all showdown with Netherlands in the final game of the women’s Olympic Qualifiers in iceSheffield this afternoon.
The winners will progress to Final Qualifying in February next year in a bid to reach the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.
It’s a huge afternoon for GB ice hockey so make sure you’re part of the action at the Bauer Arena today.
Both sides have won two out of two so far with GB beating Latvia (3-2) and Spain (3-0) in their previous two matches.
GB’s opening game against Latvia was a tense encounter with goals from Jodie Alderson-Smith, Katie Henry and Katherine Gale.
Last night against Spain, Henry netted twice and Alderson-Smith once while netminder Ella Howard secured a 31-shot shutout.
Netherlands defeated Spain (2-0) and Latvia (2-1) for their 100 per cent record so far.

Tickets are available on the door at iceSheffield for today’s final-day showdown.
Admission is via a Day Ticket which covers both matches and costs just £15 (plus fees) for adults.
Concession tickets (over-65s and under-16s) are on sale for only £8 (plus fees).
