GOOOOOOOOOAL. Jordan O'Brien gives GB the lead, assisted by Jack Clarke. GB 1-0 Netherlands.
Great Britain made it two wins from two at the men’s U18s World Championship Division II Group A in Asiago with a 1-0 victory over Netherlands.
After Ben Clarke-Leach’s 28-shot shutout in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Croatia, Alfie Blakeley turned away all 49 shots he faced against the Dutch.
It means GB are level on six points with Italy at the top of the standings after two matches.
Jack Clarke fed Jordan O’Brien to score from close-range for the only goal of the game in the first period (11:13).
Blakeley was immense at the other end as GB produced another fine performance to keep up their 100 per cent-winning record in the six-team tournament.
