Great Britain beat China 4-2 in the final warm-up game ahead of the men’s Under-18s World Championship Division II Group A tournament getting under way in Asiago on Sunday.

Bailey Yates scored short-handed (12:28) to give GB the lead at the first intermission.

Yates netted his second early in period two, assisted by Harrison O’Connor and Oskar Sagan (21:21), before captain Brynley Capps scored GB’s third (28:48).

Zhou Enzhi got China on the board (30:44) but GB hit back under two minutes later through Jack Clarke, assisted by Jordan O’Brien (32:36).
