Great Britain have called-up Oskar Sagan to replaced Connor Lee who has withdrawn from the men’s Under-18 World Championship Division II Group A which begins in Asiago on Sunday.
The 16-year-old was part of GB’s bronze medal-winning team at last year’s Under-16 Riga Hockey Cup.
GB will face hosts Italy, along with China, Croatia, Netherlands and Romania at the Palaodegar ice rink.
Great Britain begin their campaign against Croatia on 13th April before facing the Netherlands the following day.
After a rest day, GB take-on China on 16th April and Romania on 17th April.
The second rest day follows and GB meet hosts Italy in the final game of the tournament on 19th April.
GB prepare for the tournament with two warm-up games, starting with tonight’s fixture against Italy.
