The UK's Global Girls' Game 2025 was held at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham

The UK edition of the 2025 IIHF Global Girls’ Game took place at the National Ice Centre today (Sunday 16th February 2025).

Over 60 girls – aged between 11 and 17 – attended the event in Nottingham which one of the biggest-ever to be held in the UK.

From New Zealand and Asia to Europe and the Americas, the Global Girls’ Game is a weekend-long match between the Team Blue and Team White players.

Events take place in dozens of countries across the world with a running tally between Team Blue and Team White.

The UK event saw skills sessions led by coaches from GB as well as from the National Ice Centre.

Two matches took place across the day to count towards the running tally of the Global Girls’ Game with Team Blue coming out on top against Team White.
