Matches between GB and Poland are always great spectacles and the two sides have built-up an exciting but respectful rivalry over the past decade.
The passion on the ice is matched off it with fantastic support in the stands from both sets of supporters.
The last meeting between the two sides saw nearly 5,000 people pack into the Motorpoint Arena as GB beat Poland 5-4 in overtime in last April’s World Championship Division I Group A.
Both sides were promoted last year to the top division of the World Championship which takes place in Czechia in May.
Ice Hockey UK CEO, Henry Staelens, said: “We’re really looking forward to these games and we wanted make sure as many people as possible, especially families, could come and see GB play live.
“Our young fans are our next generation of supporters, maybe some are our next generation of GB players, so we feel it’s important to make sure they get the chance to watch the games in Leeds and Nottingham.
“As part of our strategy, it’s important that we host GB matches at different arenas when the opportunities arise so it’s great that we’ll be holding one of these games in Leeds.
“This is followed by Nottingham where, of course, we had so many great memories last year.”
