Great Britain suffered two defeats on their second day of action at the Winter Youth Olympics in South Korea.
GB, who are seeded sixth out of the eight teams, are creating UK history as they compete at the tournament for the first time.
GB were beaten 24-1 by Latvia before a 14-4 defeat by Denmark, but Head Coach Danny Meyers put it all into context.
Meyers said: “Today the boys got to experience what it’s like to compete against World Championship 1A opponents. Latvia are an incredible talent and we were no match them at all in the first game.
“In the second game against Denmark the boys competed their tails off. I couldn’t have asked for more effort wise.
“We just need to be more game smart at times as this three-on-three concept is so unforgiving when we make the wrong decision.
“It’s a quick turnaround with two games again tomorrow, but we are excited to have the opportunity to get some wins on the board.”
