Great Britain were beaten 5-1 by Poland in their second game at the women’s Four Nations in Esbjerg.
Wiktoria Sikorska scored at 6:30 and 14:21 in the first period as Poland opened up a two-goal lead.
Late in the period, Rachel Cartwright reduced the arrears as she forced the puck over the line from close-range (19:44).
Sikorska completed her hat-trick at 27:28 and Olivia Tomczok made it 4-1 at 31:14.
Wiktoria Gogoc added a fifth in the third period (54:11).
GB complete the tournament tomorrow against Denmark.
