Great Britain have made a roster change for the women’s Olympic Qualifiers in Sheffield next week with Emma Nichols replacing Nicole Jackson who has had to withdraw because of injury.

It’s Nichols’ first call-up to a full Great Britain roster after previously representing the national team at two Under-18 Women’s World Championship tournaments.

The 20-year-old, who iced for Chelmsford and Bracknell earlier in her career, now plays in Sweden.

GB face Netherlands, Spain and Latvia at the Bauer Arena in iceSheffield from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th December.

The winners will progress to Final Olympic Qualifying in February 2025 for a place at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

Admission to the tournament is via Day Tickets which covers two matches a day and cost just £15 (plus fees) for adults.

Concession tickets (over-65s and under-16s) will be on sale for only £8 (plus fees).
